When was the last time you talked with someone about your health and received the personal attention you deserve?

It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and goals with a trained professional. As a Health Coach, I work one on one with busy women who want to cook healthy for their families, exercise to take care of themselves, and eat healthy, but are challenged by time constraints, picky eaters in the family, stress and not sure how to make time to take care of themselves when their family and career demands so much from them.  Unlike many nutrition programs that focus solely on what you should be eating and how much working out you should be doing, we focus on identifying the barriers in your way whether they be from outside demands or internal, emotional factors.  We then work together to determine ways to overcome those barriers and set realistic goals that fit into your lifestyle.

No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you.  Most approaches to nutrition focus on what to cut out of your diet and restrict.  This is not sustainable and you will be miserable! Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals. I have studied all the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you.  As a nutrition specialist, I have studied how to calculate the right balance of calories, carbs, protein, and fats for YOU and can provide a meal plan as well.  My goal is to provide you with the information to help you with your goals that you set and teach you how to do this on your own for life!

  • one hour sessions either in person or via phone (frequency differs by person)
  • a personalized calculation of calories and macro-nutrients, as well as individualized meal plan
  • e-mail and phone support in between sessions
  • accountability
  • weekly planner, handouts, books, food samples, and other materials
  • workout advice from the personal trainer side of me!
